Audience Braves Cold to Celebrate Chinese New Year at Radio City Music Hall
NTDTV Spectacular: A Fitting Valentine celebration

The weather outside was frightful but the show was so delightful, according to those attending NTDTV's Chinese New Year Spectacular Wednesday night. The audience expected great things.
"Spectacular ... especially the scenery. It was realistic, lifelike. This is my second time seeing the show. I liked the singing and dancing." Maurice Ford said.
Caitriona de Burca from Ireland said, "It was great!"
"I would definitely come back with someone, even in a couple of days! Very recommended!" said Daniel from England.
"It was really beautiful. It was a surprise for me because I didn't know what to expect," said Marian C. of Yonkers.
Paul Catafago, executive director of Movement One: Creative Coalition, praised the high production value. He felt the art of the show was a tool to inform. "The orchestra flowed with the choreography. The music fit the choreography perfectly."
"You could easily see the contrast between eastern and western," said John K., of Yonkers, NY, who was pleasantly surprised by the show. "It was enchanting!"
"Best ever! Everything from the original music to the dance numbers to the hosts, the graphics. Radio City Music Hall is the best place to put a show on. It was nice to see the dancers take some chances," said Simon Applebaum from Cable World Magazine, of Brooklyn, NY.
"It was the best show in the world," said Ove Hallberg from Sweden, who was at the show with his friends from Sweden just to see the show in New York.
"We came up from Wilmington, North Carolina to see the show. It was wonderful. We [along with her husband and 2 year-old son] bought the DVD and liked it and so we came," said Kelly Ni.
The Valentine's Day performance at Radio City Music Hall was preceded by a gala reception for local celebrities and supporters.
Some have asked what it takes to produce a show involving hundreds of performers, bring authentic Chinese culture to life, and has a Communist regime trying to shut it down at all costs. A great deal of effort and heart. After tonight, it seems the audience agrees.
In an e-mail to Epoch Times staff not two hours after the show, Dr. Larry T. Gell, Director-General, International Agency for Economic Development, said, "Your show just keeps getting better every year... extremely creative."
